I grew up as an athlete and definitely had my share of aches and pains. In high school and college I was the unofficial "team therapist" and my friends and fellow athletes came to me when they had a little ache or pain here and there. I was always told I was great with my hands.
Skip forward a few years and I became a chiropractic assistant, working in an office setting and helping bones and joints. We offered massage at our office and I became intrigued all over again. I decided that massage was for me and began my studies. I attended The Soma Institute in Chicago, IL; where I attained my diploma in Clinical Massage Therapy with perfect attendance and on the Presidents list. At Soma I was trained in many modalities including; Swedish/Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Trigger Point Therapy and more. I offer a wide variety of skills to help you heal.
I then went forward to take my state boards exam (the MBLEx) and passed to receive my license. I am now a Licensed Clinical Massage Therapist.
I look forward to helping you whether you have chronic pain, old injuries, or just want to relax.
